067. Visit 5 countries I've never been to before (1/5)

FRANCE: Paris

On Wednesday March 23 2011, James and I took time out from Disneyland Paris and got a train into the city of Paris to see some of the famous sights. On the itinerary we had the Louvre, the Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, Champs Elysees and Notre Dame.

The weather was absolutely perfect all week long, but especially amazing on this day. It's a shame we thought we'd be in the city until nightfall, so took our coats with us. This weighed is down, making the day more difficult, besides we managed to be back at Marne La-Vallee Chessy before it got dark anyway.

My poor little feet were worn out from all the walking around Disneyland, so we didn't make it to all our destinations but we did do quite well! Here are some pics of the sights we made it to see:

We clearly didn't get to see it all and we didn't walk down to the Eiffel Tower - I couldn't make it! We will definitely plan to go back and spend more time in the city and see it all properly. And on the same trip maybe get the train to Disneyland so I can get another fix!
