12 Days To Go!

My 1001 days is almost over and although I won't be completing all 101 things on My List, it has still been a very fun experience to record on this blog and I do hope to continue to set myself little goals and looking back at my achievements for the rest of 2013 and throughout 2014 also.

I'm not going to set another 101 in 1001 and might leave this blog live as an archive, but I will most likely continue to record my goings-on on my What Cheryl Did blog - you can follow me there if you'd like to keep up with everything I get up to.

For now I do have 12 days left, so lets see what I can cram into that time!

New Additions to My 101 List

After my second review of my 101 list I'm now left with a couple of gaps to fill with some new things I want to achieve before September. I want the new additions to replace those that were scrapped, so if I've got a gap in the Travel list then I need to think of a new travel related achievement to put in it's place.

This is what I've come up with as replacements:

Health & Fitness
038. Complete a 30 Miles in 30 Days Challenge

Creative
053. Create a memory jar for 2013
055. Frame my Instagram photos

Travel
069. Spend a day at the beach
074. Visit London Zoo

Fashion & Beauty
080. Operation Empties - blog about each months finished products (0/8)

I had to pick some things that were easily achievable since I've not got that long left to complete my list, I know I'm not going to get the full 101 but I want to get as many complete as I can in the time I have left. A couple are challenging, some will depend on situation and determination - so, let's go!

Yearly Review 02

Two years on and I'm still working on completing my list of 101 things, slow and steady. I've come to terms with the fact that I won't complete them all and this yearly review cannot be me changing the whole list just so I can complete all 101. For this review I'm not going to remove/replace very much, instead I'm just going to tweak some that might actually be achievable. 

Just like last year, those that are replaced or changed count as incomplete with my money to charity pledge still standing - although this one itself will change to a lesser amount per incomplete (who knew I'd have so many incomplete, I can't afford all that! Sorry, charity...).

All of the below will be getting slight tweaks:
001. Donate £5 to charity for each mission I don’t complete
021. Read all the books that I own but haven’t read yet
031. Order grocery shopping online 50 times
044. Lose 50lbs, 10lbs at a time
051. Take a photo of the same place every month for a year
054. Do 'A Day In The Life' 10 times
060. Have 12 'No-Buy' months
062. Save £100 a month
063. Buy 20 lucky dip Lotto tickets
079. Buy five sets of matching underwear
092. Bake brownies for someone who’s having a bad day
100. List 5 things I'm grateful for once a month


And these ones are gone to be replaced by something when the inspiration strikes me:
038. Run a 5K
053. Make my own Christmas cards to send out
055. Make my own Christmas decorations
069. Spend Christmas in a different country
074. Go to a Christmas market in Germany
080. Have electrolysis treatment at the salon twice a month

With only 9 months to go, I wonder if I'll even make it to half this list completed? Who knows, but at least I know I tried.

Yearly Review 01

I've had this blog and been completing missions from my 101 list for over a year now! So far I've completed just 14 of the tasks I set, but have 38 in progress - some of them could be complete very soon.

I have chosen to remove 8 tasks and replace them with new ones based on a yearly review I set myself. Here is the list of tasks I've removed:

024. Play Mario on the Wii once a week for 12 weeks (0/12)
028. Buy all the books I studied at school
045. Take 5 relaxing baths, complete with candles
056. Turn some of my photography into art pieces for my home
070. Collect 101 WDW postcards (8/101) [list]
072. Complete a full trip report for Florida 2009
088. Host a BBQ
093. Make a monthly meal plan and stick to it for 12 months (0/12)

Each of these counts as incomplete, so I will pledge £5 to charity for each of the above - so far a massive £40!

So far I've not replaced any of these, it's going to take me a few days to get some inspiration for what I want to achieve in 2012. For now I've just edited number 093 so I don't have to do it for 12 different months, just one month should be enough for that - who knows, the habit of meal planning might stick, that's the aim!

Let's hope by this time next year I've completed many more tasks and don't have to replace so many!

Miss Cherie's 101

The Mission:
Complete 101 preset tasks in a period of 1001 days.

The Rules:
Tasks must be specific (i.e; no ambiguity in the wording) with a result that is either measurable, or clearly defined. Tasks must also be realistic and stretching.
